Obituary for Guy Kelly Guy Allen Kelly, 82, of Elkview passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018 with his family by his side. Guy was born in Roane county, to the late Lonnie and Camie Kelly. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a very hard worker. Guy was a member of the Charleston Lodge # 1444 Loyal Order of Moose. He enjoyed working on cars and heavy equipment, and was always willing to help a neighbor or friend in need. Guy was retired from Peabody Coal Company. He is also preceded in death by his son, Boyce Kelly; brother, “Mack” Kelly; and grandchild, Buddy Allen Osborne. Guy is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Shirley Kelly; daughters, Joyce (Chuck) Osborne, Terri (Michael Perry) Kittinger, Jackie (Robert) Christian, and Beverly (David) Burdette; his sisters, Velma (Lew) Thompson, and Janet Bowen; grandchildren, Jason, Guy(Bobbie), Eric (Lindsey), Joe, Andrew, and Chad; 2 great grandchildren; 2 step-great grandchildren, and a special pet, “Kitty Cat”. A service will be 2:00 PM Monday, July 23, 2018 at Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Lewis Taylor officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, July 22, 2018.
