Obituary for Grace Smith Grace Smith, age 63 of Coldiron passed away peacefully on Sunday July 1, 2018. She was born August 9, 1954 to the late John and Ethel Perkins, she was a homemaker and was a member of The Church of God of the Free People. Grace is preceded in death by her parents John and Ethel Lawson Perkins, her husband Leon Smith, siblings: Nathan Perkins, David Perkins, and Wilma Massingale. She leaves to mourn her passing her children: Walter Lee Smith and wife Rolanda of Bulan, KY, Hank Smith of Coldiron, Connie Smith of Coldiron and Tammy Forrester of Harlan, Siblings John Perkins, Charles Perkins, Linville Perkins, Danny Perkins, Marvin Perkins, Faye Jones, Frieda Perkins, Debbie Dean, Grandchildren: Randall Blanton, Emily Blanton, Kimberly Blanton, Ariel Smith and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at the Church of God of the Free People Tuesday July 3, 2018 from 4 PM until the funeral hour on Thursday July 5, 2018 at 12 PM with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Mount Pleasant Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Grace Smith.
