Obituary for Gloria Brandt (Stawecki) THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR AND ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF GLORIA S. BRANDT WATERBURY – Gloria S. Brandt, age 90 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the Vitas Innovative Care Unit of St. Marys Hospital. She was the widow of Walter E. Brandt Jr.. Mrs Brandt was born April 3, 1928 in Waterbury CT the daughter of the late Stanley and Bertha ( Stachelek) Stawecki. She was a graduate of Waterbury Catholic High School and worked for many years as a clerk/typist in the Nursing Services Dept of St. Marys Hospital. Gloria loved to read and cook but the most important thing in her life was spending time with her beloved family. She was a parishioner of SS Peter & Paul Church and Gloria will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her. She is survived by her son; Gary Brandt with whom she made her home and her daughter, Marcia M’Sadoques and her husband, Gerard of Watertown and their children; John of Milford, and Patrick of Naugatuck. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Lena M’Sadoques. Funeral services for Mrs. Brandt will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at SS. Peter & Paul Church 167 Southmayd Rd Waterbury at 10:00 a.m. Those planning to attend are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in Mt Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home has been entrusted to assist the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, to honor Gloria’s memory, donations of blankets may be made to Vitas Innovative Care Unit of St. Marys Hospital, 56 Franklin St Waterbury CT 06706.
