OBITUARY Gertrude Siwoff June 11, 1921 – July 14, 2018 Gertrude Siwoff (nee Schatzberg) (b. 6/11/1921) passed away on July 14, 2018. She was born in the Bronx, New York. She attended received nursing training from Johns Hopkins University. Gertrude married Seymour Siwoff in 1948. Together they had two children. She proudly transcribed books into Braille for most of her life as a volunteer. She was a bookkeeper in her husband’s business, the Elias Sports Bureau, for many years. She leaves behind her husband, Seymour Siwoff, her children Ronald Siwoff (m.Rachel Rose) and Nancy Gilston (m. Bruce Gilston), her grandchildren Benjamin (m.Cheryl Heitzman) and Joseph Gilston (m. Kaitlyn Johnson), Kevin and Andrew Siwoff and two great grandsons, Henrik Gilston and Hudson Gilston. She will be greatly missed and will remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate to have known her. A memorial service will be on July 22, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Temple Emanuel, Fifth Avenue at 65th Street, NY, NY.
