Geraldine “Jiggs” Cartwright Broskin, 75, of Rochester, died Monday, July 9, 2018, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. Born July 12, 1942, in Rochester, a daughter of the late Elmer C. and Frances Moffett Watson, she was a member of Pinehurst Alliance Church, Economy Boro, and the Ambridge Sportsmen’s Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John R. Cartwright, in 1997; a granddaughter, Brittney Cartwright, and her stepmother, Lois Watson. Surviving are her husband, William Broskin; a son and daughter-in-law, John A. and Heather Cartwright, Hopewell Twp.; a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Roger Rapchak, Baden; two stepsons, Jack (Janet) Broskin, New Sewickley Twp., and Don Broskin, Economy Boro; three grandchildren, Brandon (Terra) Cartwright, Zackary Cartwright and Trevor Rapchak; a great-grandson, Jase Cartwright; her twin sister, Sandra Pazzanita, Baden; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harold and Elizabeth Cartwright, Alliance, Ohio, and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m., with Pastor Dale Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
