George E Tuck Pollard of Wartburg June 26 1933 June 28 2018 (age 85)

George Edd “Tuck” Pollard age 85, crossed over from this life to a better one on June 28, 2018 after suffering an accident at his home. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Eva Lewallen Pollard. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Sue Norman Pollard; daughter, Diana Lynn Redmon; son-in-law, Lynn; granddaughter; Jozi; step grandson, Stephen; step daughters, Marcie McGregor and Shannon Higginbotham and dearest friend, Steve Ellis. Tuck was of the Baptist faith and also served in the United States Army. Retired from Martin Marietta (Y-12) in Oak Ridge. He was born and raised on the Catoosa Wildlife Management Area where he loved to coon hunt, trail ride and go 4wheeling in the snow. You always knew where you stood with him and if you didn’t he would tell you. He could do a mean “two-step” and was a great story teller. The family will receive friends, Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg with a Memorial Service to follow at 4:00 p.m. with Bro. Jim Disney officiating. A special thanks to all who have helped in his care, Morgan County EMS, UT Medical Center, Life Care Center of Morgan County and Schubert Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Mossy Grove Baptist Church Mission Fund, 347 Mossy Grove Rd., Harriman, TN 37748. Funeral Service
