Fuiel “Herbert” H. Sparks; 83 of Coal Grove gained his wings to heaven on July 7, 2018_ leaving from the Rivers Bend Care Center in Burlington with his wife Sharon and family at his side. The Inez Kentucky native was born December 19, 1934, a son of the late Robert “Rich” Sparks and the late Lucy Jane Holbrook Sparks. Herbert was raised in Greenup and had lived in Coal Grove for the last 47 years with his wife Sharon K. Sparks whom he married on July 2, 1971. He was a former Truck Driver and a loving husband and father. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son; Curtis Sparks, 2 brothers; Billy J. and James Ray Sparks and a sister; Woynetta Sparks Carr. Along with his loving wife of 47 years, Fuiel leaves 2 daughters; Tamara Lynn Stanton and her husband Randy, Annameta Sparks Cook, 2 sons; Robert D. Sparks and his wife Dorothy, Cody Aaron Sparks and his wife Jessica, a step-son; Dale Eugene Jenkins and his wife Tammie M. Jenkins. 2 Sisters; Etta Roberta Sparks Ahl and Janet Fay Burton, 6 grandchildren; Joshua Oliver Stanton Wayne Sparks, Chameleon Dwan (Jenkins) Melvin, Kathryn Faye Jenkins, Robert Sparks, Hannah Elizabeth (Stanton) Pike, Colten Sparks and a host of family and friends. All services will be private. In lieu of flowers the family would like to request that you hug your loved ones and let them know they are loved.
