Eugene Elwood Kirby 2018

Eugene Elwood Kirby age 81 of Bowling Green, passed away Saturday morning peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Warren County to the late Perry Weldon and Flora Wilson White Kirby and was married for 61 years to the late Bessie Delores Harston Kirby. He was also preceded in death by sister and brothers Ramona Carter, Emanuel Weldon, Mitchell, and Lloyd Kirby. Retired Maintenance from Graves Gilbert Clinic. Member of Faith United Methodist Church , (formerly Kerr Memorial United Methodist Church ) where he had been very active all parts of the church. He had also worked at Tri State Bedding. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Gillenwater (James) of Scottsville, 2 sons Daniel Kirby and Darron Kirby (Pamela) both of Bowling Green . Grandchildren Kyle Gillenwater, Katherine Gillenwater and Kristine Gillenwater, Bryant Kirby (Jordan), Lauren Kirby, Mariah Yates (Adam) Great grandchildren Evan Kirby and Silas Yates. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be from 12 noon – 8:00 pm Sunday, 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday and after 9:00 am Tuesday at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Tuesday at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel, with burial to follow in the Bowling Green Gardens .
