Estella J. Buckus 80 of Edinburg died Wednesday, July 25, 2018. She was born May 15, 1938 in Grantsville, WV to Snowden and Ada (Kirby) Gibson. Estella was a member of the Ravenna VFW #1055 Auxiliary. Survivors include her son Stephen (Sandra) Buckus of Downingtown, PA, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, son in law Robert Benton and siblings Betty Williams of Cleveland, Doris Asbury of W. Lafayette, OH and Edmund Gibson of Newcomerstown, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harry in 1994, daughter Karen Benton in 2014 and siblings Edra Rogers, Vernon Gibson, Talmon Gibson, Eugene Gibson, Okey Gibson, Donald Gibson and Leon Gibson. Cremation has taken place, a memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Reverend William Snyder will officiate. Private burial will be in Edinburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44106.
