OBITUARY Emma Gene Wells Jordan September 30, 1937 – July 21, 2018 Emma Gene Wells Jordan was born September 20, 1937 in Sheridan, Arkansas and passed away peacefully July 21, 2018 in her Redfield home. Gene was preceded in death by her parents James and Mildred Wells and also by her husband Johnny Jordan of Redfield. My mom had a happy and eventful life. Starting at age 18, she worked hard at AMF being the very first woman lead person while there, she was also a Union Steward and was a bicycle paint-woman. Later she was a painter at Seimens Allis. Mom is survived by her brother and sister in law Hosie and Pat Wells, her oldest daughter Debbie Pollard (Neal) and youngest daughter Panda Gire (Richard) also sharing lovingand fun memories are her 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Mom will be always loved, remembered and missed deeply. Proud to be an American, extremely proud to be Southern, she loved to go riding down back roads all over Arkansas. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Corinth Cemetery in Grant County, Arkansas.
