Obituary for Eileen Battcher Mrs. Eileen Battcher, 85, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Signature Healthcare at Parkwood in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born on July 27, 1932, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Raymond Lee Cutshall and Beatrice (Newbold) Cutshall. Eileen attended Arsenal Technical High School. She married John Alfred Battcher on September 11, 1949, in Indianapolis; they shared 65 years of marriage together. Mr. Battcher passed away on April 5, 2015. Eileen was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her four children. Eileen was a member at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lebanon and enjoyed reading, playing cards and ceramics. Family was first priority and she was truly blessed being a wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include: Three Children: Jeff W. Battcher and wife, Andrea – Thorntown, Indiana Joe David Battcher and wife, Alice – Plant City, Florida Judy B. Champod and husband, Scott – Lebanon, Indiana Four Grandchildren: Tiffany Battcher Jake Battcher Jesse Battcher Blake Battcher Brothers: Raymond Cutshall Charles Cutshall In addition to her parents and husband, Eileen was preceded in death by a son, John Paul Battcher; grandson, Christopher Battcher; three brothers-in-law, Theodore “Teddy” Battcher, William Battcher, and Fred Battcher. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2625 Elm Swamp Road, in Lebanon, Indiana with Pastor Emmanuel Penumaka officiating. Visitation is planned from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the church in Lebanon. Interment will follow services at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Boone County, Indiana.
