EDWARD J. SHAARA, JR., 82, of Little Falls died Saturday, July 28, 2018. Born in Jersey City, NJ, Mr. Shaara resided in Little Falls for over 50 years. He was the retired Founder and President of Verona Insurance Agency of Little Falls, retiring fifteen years ago. Mr. Shaara was a parishioner of Holy Angels RC Church, Little Falls and was the Mayor of Little Falls in 1974. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Elaine Ribaudo, in 2013. Survivors include: his two sons, Edward J. Shaara, III and his wife, Janice of Glen Ridge, NJ and Robert D. Shaara and his wife, Robyn of Riverton, NJ; his sister, Isabelle Heaney of So. Hempstead, NY and his three grandchildren, Eddie, Eric and Victoria Shaara, Funeral Services will be 9:00 am Wednesday from Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls and 9:30 am at Holy Angels RC Church, 465 Main St., Little Falls. Private Cremation to follow. Visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
