Obituary of Edward Moore Edward (Ed) Conrad Moore of Woodbury Heights, NJ passed away on July 20, 2018 at the age of 86. He was the husband of Barbara E Moore with whom he shared 60 years of marriage. “Say not in grief ‘he is no more’ but in thankfulness that he was.” Born in Clifton Heights, PA. He was the son of the late Frank S. Moore and the late Bertha M Moore. Ed served our country by joining the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. After his military services he was then employed by Clifton Heights Precision located in PA, where he met his wife Barbara. After many years at Clifton Heights Precision Ed was employed with Eastern Airlines in Philadelphia, PA. Upon completing 20 plus years of service with Eastern Airlines Ed retired early, at the age 55. After his retirement Ed continued to work for Pinkerton security agency as a security guard at the Mobile refinery in Paulsboro until his full retirement at age 62. Ed enjoyed his retirement until his passing. Ed was a hard-working strong-willed man who will be sadly missed by family and friends. Ed loved dancing and bowling. He also enjoyed spending time reading mystery novels and solving crossword puzzles. Ed was an avid Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers fan. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Moore (nee Weakland); Sons Edward Moore (Suzanne),Michael Moore, Frank Moore (Terri) and David Moore; Daughters, Dawn Albert (James) and Deana Moore and 6 Grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Alice Bradley, William (Charlene) and Robert Moore. He was predeceased by three brothers, George, Frank, John and one sister Bertha Thompson. At the Family’s request, a private service will be held later this week. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in memory of Edward C.
