Edward W. Reynolds, Sr. 79 of East Taunton passed away at his home in East Taunton after a brief Illness. He was the loving companion of Peggy Santos who he shared his life with for the past 36 years. Born in Taunton he was the son of the late Oliver N. and Nancy V. (Westgate) Reynolds Edward worked in construction most of his life. He was a very talented man who could do so many things. He was a mason, welder, builder, landscaper, electrician and plumber. He will also be remembered for his great sense of humor. He is survived by his companion Peggy, 5 sons Edward Reynolds, Jr and his wife Anne of E. Freetown, Michael Reynolds of New Bedford, William Reynolds of Worcester, Tom Reynolds and his companion Cida of Worcester Derek Reynolds of CT and Edward Medeiros of Taunton; 3 daughters Bonny Reynolds of Attleboro, Beth Reynolds of Assonet and Larissa Terry of TX; a brother Raymond Reynolds of East Taunton; 2 sisters Virginia Burnham of East Taunton and Wilma Braga of Taunton and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Oliver Reynolds, Jr. James Reynolds, Muriel Souza, Clair Rogers, Joan Irons, Phyllis Reynolds, Myrna Reynolds and Edna Thomas. Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 6-8 PM in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 280 Bedford St., Lakeville, MA. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 10:00 am in the funeral home followed by burial in Precinct Cemetery in Lakeville.
