Rexford-Edward R. Gendron 78, passed away on July 1, 2018 at the VA Hospital in Albany after a long illness surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Roland and Kathleen Gendron and the loving husband of 58 years to Betty Gendron. Edward served in the United States Air Force, he worked in the car business for many years eventually owning his own business in Slingerlands. In addition to his wife Betty, he is survived by his loving children Edward P. Gendron (Gayle), Michelle Elliott (Mark), Daniel Gendron (Jana) and Kenneth Gendron (Teresa), his cherished grandchildren Melissa Inzero (Joseph), Edward Gendron, Olivia Elliott, Mark Elliott, Madeline Gendron, Grace Gendron, David Gendron and Sarah Gendron, and his two great grandchildren Grayson Inzero and Avianna Inzero. Family and friends may call from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday July 5, 2018 at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh. Funeral service 10:00 am on Friday July 6, 2018 at funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waterford.
