Obituary of Douglas Matthews Douglas M. Matthews, 59, of the Town of Niagara, NY passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Alberta, Canada on February 28, 1959 he was the son of the late Paul Matthews and Vivienne (Ord) Woods. Douglas worked for GTS Trucking as a driver. In his spare time, he loved working on and with computers as a computer technician. He was also an avid collector of Native American Antiques, especially arrowheads. He is survived by his wife, Sharon A. (Utley) Matthews; sons, Jason Matthews, Dan Matthews and Douglas Matthews; granddaughter, Cheyanne; sister, Deborah Shore and brother, David Shore. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Dan Shore. There is NO PRIOR visitation. Funeral services will be announced at a later date by the family. In Lieu of flowers, donations in Douglas’s memory may be made to the wishes of the family. Arrangements entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.
