Dorothy J. (Letanosky) Rebovich, age 89 of Perryopolis, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018 in Charles Morris N.R.C., Pittsburgh, PA with her loving family by her side. She was born on June 11, 1929 in Perryopolis, PA the daughter of Louis C. and Anna Jacobs Letanosky. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Rebovich; two brothers: Thomas Letanosky and L. Charles Letanosky; son-in-law, Charles J. Brantner. Dorothy was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, St. John’s Altar Society, St. John’s Senior Citizens and Perryopolis Area Heritage Society. Dorothy was the secretary for the Frazier Elementary School until her retirement with 14 years of service. Dorothy played the piano for many of the churches, school plays and organizations. She is survived by two daughters: Nancy J. Dzara and husband Gerald of Tucson, Arizona, Suzanne M. Brantner of Pittsburgh, PA, one son, Robert A. Rebovich and wife Deborah of Perryopolis, PA, eight grandsons: Charles A. Brantner and wife Ashley, Gregory Dzara, Matthew Brantner, Andrew Brantner, Bradley Rebovich, Eric Brantner and wife Jennifer, Aaron Rebovich and Jared Rebovich; four great grandchildren: Charles Joseph, Jayna, Henry and Owen. Dorothy’s family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Monday, July 2, 2018 in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA, where Prayers of Transfer will take place at 10 am on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 am in St John the Baptist R. C. Church, Perryopolis, PA with Rev. Father Alvin Enal Cabungcal, as Celebrant. Interment will follow in St Nicholas Cemetery. Perryopolis, PA. Members of St John the Baptist R. C. Church will pray the Rosary on Monday afternoon at 3 pm.
