Doris Ann Shoemaker, age 82, of Pevely, Missouri, entered into rest on April 20th, 2018, at Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Festus, Missouri. She was born March 13, 1936, in Velpen, Indiana to Clinton and Edith (Bennett) Coleman. Doris was united in marriage to Larry Shoemaker. She enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening and her dog, Lady. She is survived by her husband, Larry Shoemaker; son and daughter-in-law, Paul P. and Lonna Coleman of Dale, IN, son-in-law, Elvin Rasnic of Fillmore, MO, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ivan Lawrence and Donna Coleman of St. Clair, MO, Phillip Warren Coleman of Vallejo, CA, Phyllis Coleman of Stendal, IN; 7 grandchildren, Julie Jenkins, Russell Rasnic, Phillip, Ryan, Chad, Clint and Grant Coleman; 9 great grandchildren; her caretaker, Laura. Memorial services for Doris Ann Shoemaker and her daughter, Brenda Resnic will be held at 1:00 p.m. E.D.T., Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Cup Creek Cemetery with Ryan Coleman and Ivan Lawrence Coleman officiating the graveside service.
