Donald Polen Chamblee Jr 1937 2018

Obituary for Donald Chamblee Jr. Donald Polen Chamblee, Jr. departed this life July 10, 2018. He was preceded in death by his son, Randy. He is survived by his wife, Betty of Reedville, Va.; daughter, Tamara Chamblee Hall (Andy) of Reedville, Va.; stepchildren, Patricia Dennis of Salisbury, Maryland and David Pruitt of Crisfield, Maryland; and five grandchildren, Caiti, Zach, and Liz Hall; Lydia Pruitt and Patrick Helgason; two sisters, Sally Boykin (Jack) of Midlothian, Va. and Sarah Childress (Preston) of Winchester, Va. Don served four years in the U. S. Coast Guard, attended Apprentice School at Newport News Shipbuilding and for the past 38 years owned and operated Smith Point Marina and Little River Campground in Reedville, Va. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p. m. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. In lieu of flowers, the family would like family and friends to consider donations to the Animal Welfare League, P.O. Box 975, White Stone, VA 22578 or Northumberland Animal Shelter , P. O.
