OBITUARY Donald I. Dunworth December 16, 1938 – July 27, 2018 Donald I. Dunworth, 79, passed away July 27, 2018 at his home. Donald was born on December 16, 1938 to Donald and Mary (Jacox) Dunworth in DuBois, Pennsylvania. He married Elsa Maynard April 10, 1960. Mr. Dunworth proudly served in the United States Navy for six years and was able to travel the world during his service. After his service in the Navy, Donald was a quality control manager for Shellor Globe for twenty years. Donald is survived by his wife, Elsa; their daughter, Jan Marie (David) Rigby; son, David Blair (Sonnia) Dunworth; grandchildren, Shawn Shawver, Jesse (Claire) Shawver, and Mitchel Rigby; great-grandchildren, Aiden Shawver, Laurel Rose Shawver, and Alexander Shawver; a brother, Harry (Sally) Dunworth; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, John Newton Dunworth. A funeral service for Donald will be held Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Garland Brook Mausoleum with military rites by the Bartholomew County Honor Guard. Memorials in Donald’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Riley Hospital.
