Domenic Vincent Mastro October 9 1937 July 29 2018 (age 80)

Domenic V. Mastro, 80, of Norwood, formerly of Taunton, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at the Carney Hospital in Dorchester. Born in Winthrop, MA, he was the son of the late James and Mary T. (Rindone) Mastro. Domenic graduated from Boston Trade High School in 1955 and shortly after graduation joined the United States Navy. He served his country proudly from 1957-1959. He resided in Taunton since 1988 prior to moving to back to Norwood. He also lived in Florida for a number of years. Mr. Mastro ran a cleaning business for several years after retirement. One of his cleaning accounts was for Ernie Boch, Sr. Prior to retirement he worked as a baker at Stop & Shop for 23 years and also worked at Wonder Bread in Tampa, FL. Domenic was an avid fan of the New England Patriots. He leaves his children, Donna J. Bachmann, and her husband, Bruce, of Dedham, Jeremy S. Mastro, and his wife, Carol Anne, of Rye, NH, Anthony Mastro, of South Carolina, and Matthew Mastro, of Fall River; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; a sister, Rosemarie Mucci, of Medway; one nephew and two nieces. Domenic was the father of the late James N. Mastro, who passed away in 2017.
