Dianne E. Gerst “Archer” Palmyra: Dianne was born on April 9, 1952 to the late Leona “Delvecchio” and Howard Archer in Rome, NY., and she peacefully went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 11:44AM at her home in Palmyra. Dianne is survived by her daughter Phyllis (Tim) Spencer along with her other children; Jackie (James) Parnell, Belinda (Tim) Hillyard, Stanley McDonald (Jennifer Dailey), Andy Russell and Phillip (Nicolina) Zammiello; former husband Raymond Gerst; 22 grandchildren; sister Roxanne Curtis; brothers, Butch (Lynette) Archer, Bill (Kathy) Archer, Tim (Lori) Archer, her entire church family at Country Bible Baptist Church in Farmington, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Dianne loved the Lord and her family and friends very much. She enjoyed serving the Lord and going to church and spending time with family. The good Lord has been her strength through this long battle with COPD. Friends and family are invited to gather on Monday, July 23, from 10-11AM for a time of visitation where a service will follow at 11AM, at the Country Bible Baptist Church, 130 Hook Road, Farmington. All are invited to gather at the Vienna Street Entrance to Palmyra Cemetery following the church service for the rite of committal. Donations may be made to the family c/o Phyllis Spencer, 442 East Main Street, Palmyra, NY 14522.
