Diane S. Meinen, age 54, of 510 1st Ave. South in Escanaba, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba. She was born on August 1, 1963 in Burlington, WI, the daughter of Joseph and Barbara (Hefty) Kramer. Diane grew up in Burlington and graduated from Burlington High School. She then furthered her education at Gateway Technical College in Kenosha, WI. Diane worked many various jobs while raising her three daughters. She enjoyed crocheting and making blankets. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she loved spending time with her family. Diane is survived by three daughters, Christina (Darren) Widder of Gladstone, Rhonda Meinen of Janesville, WI, and Shawnna Meinen of Beloit, WI; and eight grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at the Harbor Tower Reception Room in Escanaba. Sharing of memories in Diane’s honor will take place at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday.
