Dennis R. Toellner was called to the Lord on July 26, 2018. Dennis was born October 9, 1943 to Arnold and Grace (Jarek) Toellner in Sturgeon Bay. He graduated from Sevastopol High School in 1961 and then attended Technical School in Minneapolis, MN. He adventured into many businesses: The Office Lounge and Restaurant in Sturgeon Bay, the Alpine Country Home in New Franken, and then the Plaza Family Restaurant in Seymour. He enjoyed wintering in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico and summering at his cottages in Southern Door County. His parents; and one infant brother preceded him in death. He is survived by two brothers and one sister, Richard (Doris) Toellner of New Franken, Barbara (Dennis) Jauquet, and Robert (Barb) Toellner, both of Sturgeon Bay, numerous nieces and nephews; and Collene, who was like a daughter to Dennis. Dennis will be remembered as a kind soul and missed by many other friends. Private family services will be held at Huehns Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay. He will be laid to rest with his parents at Bayside Cemetery in Sturgeon Bay. Donations may be given to the Wisconsin Humane Society in his memory.
