Obituary for Davory Wayde Morris Davory Wayde Morris, 27, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed from this life all to soon on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at his home. Davory was born in Madisonville, Kentucky on September 18, 1990 to Donald Wayne Morris and Roxana (McKnight) Henson. He graduated from Decatur Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2009. After high school, he continued his education at Med Tech in Greenwood, Indiana and earned his associates degree in biology. He was currently employed by Piramal Pharma Solutions as a microbiology technician. Davory was of Christian faith and previously attended New Life in Christ Church in Mooresville. He was an avid lover of music and enjoyed playing his guitar or many other string instruments. An old soul, he enjoyed classic vinyl records. His family and friends will forever remember his quiet and gentle nature. He had little to say around those he did not know well, but when he was around family and friends he was witty and humorous. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his loving family including his mother and step-father, Roxana and Bryan Henson of Martinsville; father and step-mother, Donald and Annette Morris of Nebo, KY; brothers, Dustin (wife, Jaque) of Richmond, KY, Bradon Henson of Martinsville, Brandon Shelton of Dawson Springs, KY, and Dillon Shelton of Dawson Springs, KY; sisters, Morgan Henson of Biloxi, MS and Morgan Shelton of Lexington, KY; grandparents, Linda McKnight of Dawson Springs, KY, Connie Jackson of Dawson Springs, KY, Don Morris of Greenville, KY, and Sharon Henson of Martinsville and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jacob McDonald; uncle, Tony McKnight; grandparents, Eugene McKnight and George Henson; and cousin, Skylar Barnett. Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, June 22nd from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon at Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center in Martinsville. A service celebrating the life of Davory will begin at 12:00 noon at the funeral home with Pastor Doug Barnett officiating.
