Obituary for David Wayne Livingston David Wayne Livingston, age 41, of Elizabethton, TN passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in Signature Health Care of Elizabethton following an extended illness. A native of Elizabethton, he was the son of Robert and Kathy Morris Livingston, Elizabethton. He was a restaurant manager and he was of the Baptist faith. David enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Caroline Morris and his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Una Livingston. Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his parents include a sister, Karen Smith and husband Brian, Elizabethton; two nieces, Courtney Rash and husband Eric and Katie Surcey and Scott and a nephew, Jacob Surcey. Great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. A service to honor the life of David Wayne Livingston will be conducted at 6:30 P.M. Friday, July 20, 2018 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Bill Davis officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:30 – 6:30 P.M. prior to the service or at the residences of any of the family at other times. Graveside service and interment will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 21, 2018 in McKeehan Cemetery, Elizabethton. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Everyone is asked to meet at the funeral home at 9:15 A.M. on Saturday to go in procession to the cemetery.
