David Scott Hyman December 12 1964 July 9 2018 (age 53)

It is with great sadness that family of David “Scott” Hyman announce his passing on Monday, July 9, 2018, at his home in Concord. Scott was born December 12, 1964, in Charlotte, NC, to the late Edward Hyman and the late Jacqueline Hyman. Scott will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 20 years, Teryl Berriman Hyman. His four brothers, Eddie, Ken, Allen and Kevin will forever remember his big, beautiful smile and his wonderful laugh. His willingness to lend a helpful hand was always evident along with his generosity. Scott will also forever be remembered by his brother-in-law, F. Scott Berriman and his wife, Whitney Miller Berriman, sisters-in-law, Tanya Hyman and Shannon Hyman, numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends. Scott loved his time traveling the world, but he most loved his time with Teryl at their cabin in the mountains. He spoke fondly of his trips to Australia, Japan, Vietnam, South Africa and more, but none compared to the special place he and Teryl shared in Virginia. Scott was loved by many, impacted many, and will be fondly remembered by many. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Hyman family.
