David Harold Edmonds, 78, of Richmond, VA, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 23, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Alice Joyce Edmonds; son, David Scott Edmonds (Patricia); brother, Roy Edmonds (Roberta); sisters, Margaret Hobgood, Lucille Robbins (Harry); granddaughter, Lauren Alexis Edmonds. David was preceded in death by his first wife Jeannette Thompson Edmonds; parents, Herbert Edwin & Rosa Anna Edmonds; brothers, James Herbert, Edwin, Lawrence, Arthur Gray Edmonds; sisters, Alice Collier, Edith Collier, and Annie Shearin. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 25, at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. N. Chesterfield, 23234. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 26 at Webber Memorial Baptist Church, 7800 Salem Church Rd. N. Chesterfield, 23237. Graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm at Westhampton Memorial Park, 10000 Patterson Ave. Richmond, VA 23233. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Webber Memorial Baptist Church.
