He was born January 19, 1945 in Long Beach, California to Benito & Pauline Esparza. A lifetime Wilmington Resident, “Bucky” is survived by his wife, Betty Esparza; son David Ernest (Erma) Esparza; daughter Camille Pauline (Philip) Lytle; daughter Esther (Kevin) Weiler; son Manuel (Cathy) Chavez; and daughter Andrea (Eddie) Contreras; sister Lydia (John) Esparza Stamps and sister Marina Esparza. Preceded in death by his parents & brother; Benito, Jr.; he leaves his legacy on this earth through his 8 grandchildren, & will remain in the hearts of all his numerous family members & friends. Visitation, will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Wilmington, 1640 North Avalon Blvd, Wilmington, CA 90744. Mass of Christian Burial is on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Peter & St. Paul Catholic Church, 515 W. Opp St. Wilmington, CA 90744. Interment to follow at All Souls Catholic Cemetery, 4400 CHERRY AVE, LONG BEACH, California 90807-1801.
