OBITUARY Darlene Smalley April 28, 1957 – July 16, 2018 Darlene Smalley, nee Ditmeyer, age 61, of Barnhart, passed away surrounded by her family on July 16, 2018. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Richard A. Smalley. Darlene was born in St. Louis, daughter of Robert F. and Loleta Ditmeyer, nee Simmons. To cherish her memory, Darlene also leaves children Amber (Patrick) Hutsler, Kimberly (Kyle Owens) Smalley, and Richard R. (Nikki Moonier) Smalley; sisters Barbara (Larry) Lindsey, and Karen (Greg) Farmer; brothers Dan (Jackie) Ditmeyer, Jerry Ditmeyer, and brother-in-law Darrell Castillo (husband of the late Mary K. Castillo). She was loving grandmother, aka “Doo dah”, to Rylan Davis, Colton and Coraleigh Owens, Cameron and Kayleigh Hutsler, and Liam and Paisley Smalley. A memorial gathering and celebration of life will be held from 1 pm to 6 pm at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, MO 63010 on Saturday, July 28th. At 6pm a ceremonial service will be held.
