Mr. Danny Wayne Moore, 64 of Benson passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, July 26, 2018. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 2:00 pm at West & Dunn Funeral Home in Benson. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Billy Nowell. Interment will follow in the Elevation United Methodist Church Cemetery in Benson. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Survivors of Mr. Moore include a wife, Lucinda H. “Cindy” Moore of Benson; Daughters, Melissa Spain of Benson; Katie Massengill and husband Robert of Sneads Ferry; Amanda Faircloth of Four Oaks; Grandchildren, Anthony, Michelle, Brandon, Bonnie, Mikael, and Jordan Sister, Frances Allen of Four Oaks; Brother,Tommy Moore of Four Oaks. Mr. Moore is preceded in death by parents, Julius and Juanita Moore,Grandchild Jonathan Barefoot, sister Virginia Capps. Memorials may be made to SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC.
