EDGERTON—Connie M. Mathison, age 77, of Edgerton, died Thursday, July 12, 2018, at the Edgerton Care Center. She was born in Edgerton on Jan. 5, 1941, the daughter of Lawrence and Gretta (Slagg) Mathison and was a 1958 graduate of Edgerton High School. Connie was a cobbler for the Nunn Bush Shoe Company for over 30 years and had also been a member of the Albion Seventh Day Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Marlo Bjornstad; and 2 brothers, Douglas and Dennis. A visitation to celebrate Connie’s life will take place on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the APFEL EHLERT FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 315 Lord St. (Hwy 51) Edgerton. Chaplain Susan Greenler of Heartland Hospice will conclude the time of gathering with a short prayer service. Burial will be in the Fassett Cemetery.
