Obituary for Charlene Martel We celebrate the life and mourn the loss of Charlene Martel. Her love for her family, her enthusiasm for life, her attentiveness to others and her compassion for those in need will be greatly missed. Mother, A Light A light is from our household gone, a voice we loved is still, A place is vacant in our home, that never can be filled. You can only have one mother, patient, kind and true. No other friend in all the world will be the same to you. When other friends forsake you, to mother you will return, For all her loving kindness, she asks nothing in return. As we look upon her picture, sweet memories we recall, of a face so full of sunshine, and a smile for one and all. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tyler. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home.
