Obituary for Carolyn Rogers Williams Carolyn Rogers Williams was born January 29, 1943 at Garnier Clinic in Bastrop, La. and passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 5, 2018 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents T.A. and Irene Rogers, sister Ellen Rogers-Vines, brother John Mark Rogers, and her mother and father-in-law Luerene and A.K. Williams. Carolyn is survived by her husband of 56 years, the love of her life and devoted caregiver, Ronald W. “Ron” Williams, daughters Laurie Williams and husband Britt Risinger, Amy and husband Michael Clark, sister Nancy Rogers, brother Thomas Rogers and wife Marti, grandchildren Brittney Risinger, Abby Clark, Cameron Clark and wife Katelyn and many friends and family. Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at First Presbyterian Church of Bastrop, 310 S. Washington St. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens in Bastrop.
