Obituary for Carl Alexander Miller MILLER, Alexander Carl – 19 Carl “Alexander Miller, 19, of Lafayette, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 1:45 p.m. at his home. Alexander was born on July 4, 1998 to Karl Miller and Melinda (Hayman) Kappes, and they survive. He worked as a laborer for Anderson Plumbing, enjoyed playing video games spending time with friends, and his dog Athena. Surviving along with his parents, are two sisters, Bailey Miller of Lafayette, and Danielle Kappes of Lafayette. Also surviving is his maternal grandparents, Karen McClure, and Stan and Debbie Kappes, paternal grandmother, Betty Summers, several cousins, and several aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jim Summers. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior at Simplicity Funeral Care with Celebrant Cindy Shaffer officiating.
