Bruce Anthony Donahue 2018

DONAHUE, Bruce Anthony, 64, of Kettering, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. Bruce was born on April 12, 1954, in Long Beach, CA, to Joseph and Viola (Szekelyhidi) Donahue. He graduated from Fairmont West high school in 1972, where he participated in numerous sports including cross-country, track, basketball, and football, and went on to continue his education at Wright State University. Bruce was an avid music fan, and loved to sing and play his guitar. He was a wiz at jeopardy and always knew the answer to every question. Bruce also loved his pool and would spend hours at a time swimming and being with his family. He was kind hearted and always put others before himself, and will be truly missed by all that knew and loved him. Bruce is preceded in death by his father Joseph Donahue. He is survived by his beloved mother Vi Donahue; son, Kevin (Rebekah) Donahue; brother Kirk (Kim) Donahue; and nephews, Chris, Kyle (Kelsey), and Kaleb Donahue. The family will receive guests from 10-11am on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd, Kettering 45429, with a service to follow. Burial at Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to thank all those who helped care for Bruce, especially, Justin, Melody, and Penelope.
