Brian C. Alkire, 40, of Crestline, passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 in Galion. Brian was born in Galion on May 1, 1978 to Billy D. Alkire and the late Pamela E. (Perry) Alkire. Brian had many interests which included camping, hiking, kayaking, bonfires and mushroom hunting. In addition to his father, he is survived by his children: Patrik Alkire-Griefenstine, Dakota Griefenstine, Haley Alkire, Brianna Alkire, Katlyn Alkire, Tristan Alkire, his brother, Billy Alkire, his sisters, Beth (Earsel) Gillam, Brandy (Tony) Myers, his cousin, Zach Perry, who was like a brother to Brian, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may call Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 223 West Main St., Crestline. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM on the same day with Celebrant LeAnne Gompf officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline.
