Betty Ann Prince Barker Berry, age 81 of Paris, TN, died Friday, June 29, 2018, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. Betty was a member of Hodges Chapel Baptist Church in Palmersville, TN. She retired from Tecumseh in Paris after 20 years. She loved animals, traveling, working puzzles, and just being her family and friends. Betty also enjoyed going to gospel singings and she attended the NQC (National Quartet Convention) with her daughter every year. In her younger years, she enjoyed gardening and working in the yard. Betty was born August 1, 1936 to the late Carl Gilbert Prince and the late Mary Relma Parrish Prince. She is survived by her two children, Barbara Lanius (James) Finley of Nesbit, MS, and Billy (Nina) Barker of Dresden, TN; one brother, Donald Wayne (Anita) Prince of Columbia, TN; one grandchild, Michael (Jessica) Lanius II of Hernando, MS; three great grandchildren, Sierra Nicole Lanius, Troy David Lanius, and Brandon Michael Lanius of Hernando, MS. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Virgil Lee Barker and Russell Vernon Berry; one sister, Mary B. Glasgow; and one brother, Bro. Claude Miller Prince. Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Monday, July 2, 2018, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 am in LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Brown and Bro. Don Cox officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Lanius II, Troy Lanius, Brandon Lanius, James Finley, Daryl Sims, and Lawrence Sims. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery in Cottage Grove, TN.
