Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Arnette Turnage Johnson, age 80 of 103 E. Sanders Street, Four Oaks, died Saturday at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield. Funeral Service will be 3:00 PM, Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Four Oaks. Rev. David Little will officiate. Burial will follow in Four Oaks City Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson was born on October 15, 1937 in Johnston County to the late Henry Sylvester and Ethel Baker Turnage. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gene Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was a retired school teacher and a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Four Oaks. Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Wanda Johnson of Benson; daughter, Becky Johnson of Four Oaks; four grandchildren, Daniel Baker and wife, Lindsay; Amanda Johnson and husband, Matt; Andrew Baker and wife, Brittany; and Joshua Johnson; great-grandson, Jude Johnson; brothers, Henry Turnage of Newport, David Turnage of Smithfield and Tom Turnage of Kenly; sister, Sara Mills of Georgia; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM Tuesday prior to the service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks. Flowers are welcome; however, the family suggest memorials to the Wednesday Night Dinner Program at First Baptist Church of Four Oaks, PO Box 717, Four Oaks, NC 27524.
