Obituary for Arnell Selma Rothert Arnell Selma Rothert, age 86, of Seymour, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018, at her residence. Mrs. Rothert was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sauers, and was a homemaker. She was a great cook and enjoyed working on the farm with her husband and playing cards with her friends. Born on February 19, 1932, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Edward and Selma Rieckers Wehmiller, both of whom preceded her in death. On November 27, 1949, she married Carroll Rothert and he preceded her in death on July 23, 1999. Survivors include one son, Marlin Lee (Roleen) Rothert of Seymour; one daughter, Kathy Ann (Paul) Trotta of Columbus; two grandchildren: Nathan Rothert of Seymour, and Nicole (Jason) Werling of Pendleton; and three great grandchildren: Matthew Rothert, Isabella Rothert and Lily Werling. Funeral services for Arnell Selma Rothert will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sauers, with Pastor Craig Muhlbach officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sauers. Interment will be at St. Johns’s Lutheran Church, Sauers Cemetery, Seymour. Memorials may be given to Schneck Medical Center Hospice or St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sauers, Cemetery Fund.
