Obituary for Arlene Simmons Gailey Arlene Simmons Gailey, age 74 of Baldwin, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Born in Baldwin, Georgia on February 12, 1944 she was a daughter of the late Brodus and Gliness Kelley Simmons. She enjoyed spending time with children and grandchildren, and she loved her dogs, Coco and Little Bit. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Condus Z. Gailey; daughter, Denise Gailey; brothers, Bruce Simmons and Ernest Simmons. Surviving are her daughter, Donna Galloway of Baldwin; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Darlene Simmons of Baldwin; sister, Annie Ruth Simmons of Milledgeville; sisters-in-law, Lenoria Simmons of Baldwin and Glenda Simmons of Homer; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Private family services will be held at a later date.
