Obituary of Annette Santarini Annette Jeanine Santarini (Kaiser), 58, passed away on July 2, 2018 at her home in Santa Rosa, surrounded by her loving family. Annette was born in Colorado to Francis and Barbara Kaiser. One of six children, she spent most of her childhood and adult life in Santa Rosa. Annette graduated from Montgomery High School before going to Santa Rosa Junior College and earning her nursing degree, a profession she was destined for. She altered the world one person at a time during her thirty plus years as a nurse at Petaluma Valley Hospital. She would often sit in the waiting room after her shift was over, just in case any of the patients wanted someone to talk to. She is remembered as someone who exuded compassion and care at an exceptional level. Annette never missed the opportunity to console, congratulate, support and enjoy the people she came in contact with. She was a giver of life, a peacemaker, a nurturer to the human spirit, a lover of nature, and had a rare ability to make everyone she knew feel special. She lived her life with a “hippie heart”, a passion for great music, for dancing, and her garden. She loved her family and friends to a degree that one rarely experiences. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with as well as those she reached but never met. Annette is survived by her children Rochelle Colvin (Daniel), Thomas Corrigan (Sabrina), Michael Santarini (Michelle Newton-Young) and Emily Santarini, her beloved grandson Wyatt Colvin, her sisters Jennifer Milligan, Susan Pinto and brothers Christopher Kaiser and Peter Kaiser, along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, brother Michael, and brother-in-law Chris. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Thursday July 12, 2018 at 1:30 P.M. at St Rose Catholic Church, 398 10th St , Santa Rosa. Visitation will be on Wednesday July 11, 2018 from 4:00-8:00P.M. at Eggen & Lance Chapel, 1540 Mendocino Ave, Santa Rosa.
