Obituary for Amor (Don) Bullers Amor Donaldson (Don) Bullers, age 85, a lifelong resident of Brookville, passed away on July 11, 2018 at Laurelbrooke Landing in Brookville, PA. Born on November 18, 1932, Don was the son of Marion (Donaldson) and Joseph Bullers of Weatherhill Farm in Hazen. He spent his childhood in Hazen/Brookville and New Kensington, PA. Don graduated from New Kensington High School in 1950 and enlisted in the Army. He served in the Korean War and was stationed along the DMZ. After his return from Korea, Don married Ella Procious in 1955. Most of their years together were spent on her family farm, Edgewood Dairy, in Brookville. Don worked in Brookville for the United States Postal Service for 17 years as a rural route carrier. He also worked on drilling rigs, skills he learned from his mentor Schenley Rockey. Eventually, he started his own excavation company. In the early 1970s, he formed REM Coal Company with two others and managed the company until it closed. Don is survived by his four children; son Brian and daughters Belinda, Beth, and Peg Bullers; eight grandchildren; Alana Joyner, Kate Bullers, and Donald Bullers; Alicia Bish, Shirey Seigworth and Hannah Seigworth; Mosi and Willa Bullers-Shah as well as four great grandchildren; Jack and Layne Bullers; and Will and Sarah Kate Joyner. A military service will take place at the Butler Cemetery, Pinecreek Twp., Jefferson Co., on Saturday, July 28, 2018 beginning at 3:15pm. Family and friends will be received for a meet and greet on Saturday, July 28, 2018, from 4 – 7pm at the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825.
