Alice Patricia McCarrick-Tentas November 12, 1959 – July 13, 2018 It is with great sadness that the family of Alice Patricia McCarrick-Tentas announces her passing on Friday, July 13, 2018 at the age of 58 years. Alice lived a fulfilling life as a daughter, mother, sister, aunt, life partner, and friend. She loved reading, watching documentaries, inciting informed and passionate exchanges about politics, and enjoying a hot cup of coffee (cream only, please). Alice’s appetite for life was matched only by her desire to help others in ways big and small, and her indomitable spirit encouraged many to persist through their own hardships. She was deeply committed to family and friends who knew they could rely on Alice for ongoing support whenever they needed her. Alice is survived by her beloved mother, Patricia McCarrick; her sisters, Kathy (Mark) Reel, Phyllis (Jay) Magarian, and Ann Sheppard; her daughter, Hayley (Jon) Grenier; grandson, Thomas Grenier; and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held. A memorial celebration will be held at a future date. Those wishing to honor her life can make a donation in her name to their local library.
