Travis Harold Severson, age 49 of Welch, MN, died on Wednesday morning, June 13, 2018 at Regency Hospital in Golden Valley. Travis was born on May 6, 1969 in Cannon Falls, MN, the son of Harold and Linda (Glynn) Severson. He graduated from Cannon Falls High School in 1987, and worked at different jobs over the years. He had previously worked at Hi-Quality Bakery in Cannon Falls and was currently employed at Treasure Island Resort and Casino. Travis was a huge fan of Minnesota sports. He was a faithful member Our Saviour’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls and loved to participate in a variety of Bible studies in the area. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Harold and Ruth Severson, John and Alvina Glynn; and uncle, Larry Glynn. He is survived by aunts and uncles, Kathy and Jerry Hogy of Redwood Falls, Dianne and Harry Wright of Wanamingo, Christine Lingk of Rochester, Doug and Polly Glynn of Grand Meadow, and James and Betty Glynn of California; many cousins; and his church family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 6:00 p.m., with visitation from 5-6 p.m., at Our Saviour’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls. Interment will be at the Kenyon Cemetery on Thursday, June 21 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred in Travis’ memory.
