Obituary of James Parsons James E. Parsons, age 74, of Corbin, passed away on Thursday May 31, 2018 at Baptist Health in Corbin. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Flora Paulette Miller Parsons; Parents, Wilbur Parsons and Mary Colditz; and by his Son, Chris Parsons. James is survived by his Children, Harry Parsons, Paul Parsons, Mary Woosley Penny, and Janet Parsons; Seven Grandchildren and two great Grandchildren; and by a Sister, Melody Parsons. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday June 5, 2018 from 11am until 1pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home to help with expenses.
