Isabel Jane Arbaugh, 92, of Westminster passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Carroll Hospice Dove House. Isabel was born on August 6, 1925 in Westminster, and was the daughter of the late Arthur Shriver Frock and Martha Roberta (Young) Frock. She was the wife of the late Norman Emory Arbaugh, who predeceased her in 1992. Isabel was a graduate of Westminster High School, class of 1942. She was also a proud homemaker for many years. Isabel was a longtime member of St. Benjamin’s (Kriders) Lutheran Church and enjoyed many church activities. She was also a member of the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Her hobbies included sewing, gardening, canning, and cooking. She enjoyed travelling with her husband and friends, playing dominoes with her family at get togethers, Pleasant Valley Fire Company activities, supporting her family and friends at Westminster Municipal Band performances, and spending time with all her close friends and neighbors. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Norman and Darlene Arbaugh, and George and Debbie Arbaugh; daughter-in-law Linda L. Arbaugh; brother and sister-in-law Daniel and Arrabelle Frock; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Howell and Hilda Schnauble; sister-in-law Aleatha M. Carlson; her 8 grandchildren: Michele, Melissa, Melinda, Martha, Jacob, Joseph, Angela, and David; and her 13 great-grandchildren: Madison, Mason, Megan, Shane, Harley, Levi, Emma, Lloyd, Jax, Isabel, Nadia, Carla, and Andrew. She is preceded in death by her son Lee Andrew Arbaugh; parents-in-laws Emory C. and A. Marie Arbaugh; sister Ellen R. Frock; brother Kenneth Y. Frock; and brother-in-law Melvin O. Carlson, Sr. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 28 from 2 to 4 pm. and 6 to 8 pm. at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster, and on Friday, June 29 from 10 to 11:00 am. at St. Benjamin’s (Kriders) Lutheran Church, 700 Kriders Cemetery Rd., Westminster. A service will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at St. Benjamin’s (Kriders) Lutheran Church. Interment will be at the Westminster Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Benjamin’s (Kriders) Lutheran Church, the Westminster Municipal Band, or the Carroll Hospice Dove House.
