Glenn William Brewer, 67, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at his home. Mr. Brewer was born March 29, 1951, in Stanly County to the late Benjamin Franklin Brewer and the late Gatha May Brewer. He was also preceded death by two brothers. Glenn was a member of Silver Springs Baptist Church and even though health reasons caused him not to be able to attend as much as he would have preferred, he was present as much as possible. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 1:45 PM, Friday, June 29, 2018 at Silver Springs Baptist Church Cemetery at 16072 NC 138 Hwy, Norwood. A graveside service will follow the visitation in the church cemetery at 2:00 PM officiated by Rev. Mark Little. Survivors include daughters, Stacy Brewer and husband Chris Sharpe of Rock Hill, SC and Tammy Shackelford of Endy; grandchildren, Theron Shackelford, Seth Shackelford, Chalice Holhouser, Neil Holhouser, and Kara Horace; and a great grandchild; sister Ruby Helms of Albemarle, and brother, David Brewer of Albemarle.
