Obituary for Gertrude Pickos (Mollman) Gertrude M. Pickos, 100, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 and Aurora Medical Center Campus. Born in Hillsboro, IL, on October 1, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Bessie (McClain) Mollman. She moved to Kenosha in 1923 and was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School. On August 27, 1938, she married Frank J. Pickos in Kenosha. He preceded her in death on October 4, 2007. Gertrude was employed at Coopers/AMC until her retirement on 1975. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing pool and cards, and her favorite of all, ballroom dancing. Surviving are her two daughters, Barbara Saftig and Linda Clouse; son-in-law, James Clouse; two granddaughters, Laura (John Anderson) Jahnke and Stacy Saftig; two great grandsons, Austin and Jakob Jahnke; and a great-great granddaughter, Maycee Jahnke. She is preceded in death by four brothers, Robert, Orville, Tom, and Herman Mollman. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 12th, at Proko Funeral Home, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated by the family.
