Daniel Thomas Allison 78 of Newton passed Friday, June 15th, 2018 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born September 27th, 1939 he was the son of the late David Allison and Mattie Robbins Allison . He is survived by his wife of 58 years Rose Allison; several brothers and sister, two sons Tom Allison and wife Debbie of Florida, Danny Allison and wife Linda of Conover; five grandchildren Andy, Nichole, Ally, Tabitha, and Adam, and two great grandchildren Lillie and Leah. A daughter Rita Allison, preceded him in death. Burial will take place at Catawba Memorial Park at 1:30pm.
